Coat The Bernedoodle's coat is a cross between a Bernese Mountain Dog's coat and a Poodle's coat. The Bernedoodle's hair should not be clipped shorter than 2 inches to keep protection from the heat and cold. Clipping their coat every 8 - 12 weeks and brushing regularly helps keeps your mini bernedoodle looking amazing! Their coats can vary from a straighter wave to a curlier coat. A variety of colors can be evident in the same litter. Colors can be: pure black, black and white, black and brown, tri-color (black, white, brown). Our first litter was all tri-colored, which is something breeders strive for.
Personality Our Bernedoodles are very fun, friendly, and playful. They are very social dogs which helps make them the perfect companion. They are gentle around children and the elderly, excellent therapy dogs. They do need to be taught right from wrong and consistency is key in helping train your new companion.
