About Our Greater Swiss Mountain Doodles

F1b Mini Greater Swiss Mountain Doodles
Our F1b Mini Greater Swiss Mountain Doodles are 25% Greater Swiss Mountain Dog and 75% Miniature Poodle.  The mother is an F1 Greater Swiss Mountain Doodle, the father is a Miniature Poodle.  Their adult size will typically range from 18-25 lbs.  Each litter's size range will vary, depending on the size of the parents.

Coat
The Mini Greater Swiss Mountain Doodle's coat can vary from a short, more straight coat to a bit longer, more curly coat. Mini Greater Swiss Mountain Doodles with a curlier coat have more of a poodle coat and will likely have minimal shedding. The doodles with a straighter coat have more of the Greater Swiss Mountain Dog coat, which can shed medium amounts, especially in the spring and fall. The Greater Swiss Mountain Doodle's coat should not be clipped shorter than 2 inches to keep protection from the heat and cold. Those with more of the poodle coat should be groomed every 6-8 weeks, while those with shorter, straight coats will not need grooming quite as often. Regular brushing and bathing will keep the coats looking great and any shedding will be more controlled.

Personality
Our Mini Greater Swiss Mountain Doodles have the genetics from one of the smartest and one of the most hard-working dogs in the world: the Poodle and the Greater Swiss Mountain Dog. Their personalities are a unique mix of the two. With proper training, they are affectionate, loyal family companions and do well playing with other dogs. They are highly intelligent and ready to please.
