About Our Irish Doodles

F1 Mini Irish Doodles
Our F1 Mini Goldendoodles are 50% Irish Setter and 50% Miniature Poodle.  The mother is an Irish Setter, the father is a Miniature Poodle.  Their size will typically range from 25 - 40 lbs. Their height is typically between 12-17 inches tall.

Coat
The Irish Doodle's coat is a cross between an Irish Setter's and a Poodle's coat.  The usual trim is to keep the body and legs' coat shorter, with a longer face and tail. Daily brushing is essential with a longer coat. If clipped shorter, brushing 2-3 times per week is recommended. They most often come in the Irish Setter coloring, some are more in the golden tones. They may have a solid coloring, or some may have white markings.

Personality
Our Irish Doodles enjoy socializing, and tend to be sweet little dogs that like to keep their owners happy. They are family oriented and typically gentle around children. They do not like to be left alone for long periods of time. They are intelligent, making it easy for them to learn commands. They will love a good game of fetch, and also love just hanging out with family members in the house.
