Coat The Mini Swiss Mountain Doodle's coat can vary from a short, more straight coat to a bit longer, more curly coat. Mini Swiss Mountain Doodles with a curlier coat have more of a poodle coat and will likely have minimal shedding. The doodles with a straighter coat have more of the Swiss Mountain Dog coat, which can shed medium amounts, especially in the spring and fall. The Swiss Mountain Doodle's coat should not be clipped shorter than 2 inches to keep protection from the heat and cold.
